23 March 2023: Children's book author Kelley M Likes has launched a Kickstarter for her upcoming book, Panic and the Happy Thought. The art is beautiful in this book, with a wonderful message for kids who are prone to anxiety about going places and how parents can help them manage it. Working with Kelley on this book (as with all of her books) was a great experience for me, which is why I'm sharing the information in case you'd like to view, share, or support her Kickstarter campaign. The link and button both go to Kelley's launch video.

16 March 2023: I'll be the featured guest for The Editor's Half Hour podcast with Nadia Geagea Püpa on April 1st. 18 June 2022: I have gained my white scarf and been "sent  forth" by my local chapter of the Threshold Choir. What does this mean? It means I have finished a series of trainings, learned 25 core songs by heart, gone on an observation, attended (and will continue to attend) rehearsals at least twice per month, and will now be available sing at bedside for hospice patients and their families, as well as at memorial services, informative sessions, and other events. Click on the button to learn more about this organization and why we do what we do. I'm so grateful to be a part of this work.

9 May 2022: I expect to complete six months of new singer training with my local chapter of the Threshold Choir by late June 2022, at which point I will be sent forth to sing at bedside at hospices or sing for presentations about the choir.
